Highlands Community Bank (HCBC) Chicago was established in 2012 by a group of local investors who determined there was a need for a community bank in the Highlands. The belief was that a community bank could better serve the local residents and businesses and better contribute the local economy. HCBC has focused on keeping banking simple by offering products and services that are not complex and the customer can easily understand. The Banks core business is centered on traditional loan and deposit products. Since its establishment, HCBC has worked to accomplish these goals and has become the leader in market share and enhanced shareholder value because of its people and their greater understanding of the local community.
